The Brazilian Society of Microscopy and Microanalysis, together with the Microscopy Center of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and BioIMG Net, will promote, from October 30th to November 1st, 2024, the SBMM Life Sciences Symposium . This will be the 15th symposium in the biological area organized by SBMM and, this year, it will take place at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Campus Pampulha, Belo Horizonte, MG.
This event, held every two years, aims to disseminate and integrate knowledge and actions in the area of microscopy in different regions. Since microscopy comprises a set of extremely versatile instruments and methodologies, the event proposes to discuss advanced techniques in microscopy, covering super-resolution optical microscopy, confocal optical microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy , among others.
