The Brazilian Society of Microscopy and Microanalysis, in partnership with the Microscopy Center of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and BioIMG Net, hosted the SBMM Life Sciences Symposium from October 30th to November 1st, 2024.
This was the 15th edition of the symposium in the biological area organized by SBMM, held this year at UFMG’s Pampulha Campus in Belo Horizonte, MG.
This biennial event aims to disseminate and integrate knowledge in microscopy across different regions of Brazil. As microscopy encompasses a highly versatile range of instruments and methodologies, the program highlighted advanced imaging techniques such as super-resolution optical microscopy, confocal microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy, among others.
