O principal objetivo desse evento foi aprimorar os conhecimentos e habilidades dos participantes, promovendo uma compreens\u00e3o profunda das diversas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es, benef\u00edcios e inova\u00e7\u00f5es neste campo em crescimento.<\/p><p>Durante o treinamento, abordamos quatro t\u00e9cnicas essenciais, cada uma apresentada por um especialista renomado:<\/p><ul><li>Plunge Freezing \u2013 Beatriz Borges, do LNNano, Campinas, explicou os fundamentos e as aplica\u00e7\u00f5es desta t\u00e9cnica, que permite a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida de amostras biol\u00f3gicas.<\/li><li>High Pressure Freezing \u2013 Roland Fleck, do King\u2019s College, Londres, apresentou as vantagens do congelamento a alta press\u00e3o, uma abordagem que melhora significativamente a qualidade de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o de amostras para an\u00e1lises microsc\u00f3picas.<\/li><li>Crioultramicrotomia \u2013 Cristiano di Benedetto, da University of Copenhagen, detalhou o processo de se\u00e7\u00e3o ultrafina de amostras congeladas, uma t\u00e9cnica crucial para a observa\u00e7\u00e3o em n\u00edvel celular.<\/li><li>Criomicroscopia \u2013 Ingrid Augusto, da UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, apresentou os princ\u00edpios da criomicroscopia, uma t\u00e9cnica que combina a criopreserva\u00e7\u00e3o com a visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o eletr\u00f4nica, permitindo uma an\u00e1lise detalhada das estruturas celulares.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>O workshop foi estruturado em duas partes distintas para atender diferentes p\u00fablicos e necessidades.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bioimgnet.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Cryo-Workshop-Map.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1037\" src=\"https:\/\/bioimgnet.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Cryo-Workshop-Map-e1765148023184.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bioimgnet.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Cryo-Workshop-Map-e1765148023184.jpg 702w, https:\/\/bioimgnet.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Cryo-Workshop-Map-e1765148023184-300x267.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bioimgnet.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Cryo-Workshop-Map-e1765148023184-14x12.jpg 14w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p><ul><li>Parte Te\u00f3rica: No dia 02 de dezembro de 2024, tivemos uma sess\u00e3o te\u00f3rica aberta ao p\u00fablico, que contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de 101 inscritos. Esta etapa foi focada em fornecer uma base s\u00f3lida sobre as crio-t\u00e9cnicas, abordando conceitos te\u00f3ricos essenciais e permitindo que participantes de diversas \u00e1reas pudessem se envolver e aprender.<\/li><li>Parte Pr\u00e1tica (Hands-On): Entre os dias 03 e 06 de dezembro de 2024, realizamos a parte pr\u00e1tica do workshop no centro de microscopia. Esta fase foi exclusiva para 16 pesquisadores, que vieram de diferentes estados do Brasil e do Uruguai. Durante essas sess\u00f5es hands-on, os participantes puderam aplicar os conhecimentos adquiridos na parte te\u00f3rica, usando equipamentos e t\u00e9cnicas avan\u00e7adas sob a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o de especialistas. Essa experi\u00eancia pr\u00e1tica foi fundamental para de fato aprimorar as habilidades dos pesquisadores no uso das crio-t\u00e9cnicas em suas pesquisas.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Este treinamento n\u00e3o s\u00f3 proporcionou uma atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o valiosa nas crio-t\u00e9cnicas, mas tamb\u00e9m promoveu discuss\u00f5es enriquecedoras entre os participantes, ajudando a fomentar a inova\u00e7\u00e3o e a pesquisa colaborativa nesta \u00e1rea. workshop aimed at technicians, students and researchers who already use or are interested in cryotechnical techniques. The main objective of this event was to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants, promoting a deep understanding of the various applications, benefits and innovations in this growing field. During the training, we covered four essential techniques, each presented by a renowned expert: Plunge Freezing \u2013 Beatriz Borges, from LNNano, Campinas, explained the fundamentals and applications of this technique, which allows the rapid preservation of biological samples. High Pressure Freezing \u2013 Roland Fleck, from King\u2019s College, London, presented the advantages of high pressure freezing, an approach that significantly improves the quality of sample preservation for microscopic analysis. Cryoultramicrotomy \u2013 Cristiano di Benedetto, from the University of Copenhagen, detailed the process of ultrathin sectioning of frozen samples, a crucial technique for observation at the cellular level. Cryomicroscopy \u2013 Ingrid Augusto, from UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, presented the principles of cryomicroscopy, a technique that combines cryopreservation with electronic visualization, allowing for detailed analysis of cellular structures. \u00a0 The workshop was structured in two distinct parts to meet different audiences and needs. Theoretical Part: On December 2, 2024, we had a theoretical session open to the public, which was attended by 101 registered participants. This stage focused on providing a solid foundation on cryotechniques, addressing essential theoretical concepts and allowing participants from different areas to get involved and learn. Practical Part (Hands-On): Between December 3 and 6, 2024, we held the practical part of the workshop at the microscopy center. This phase was exclusive to 16 researchers, who came from different states of Brazil and Uruguay. During these hands-on sessions, participants were able to apply the knowledge acquired in the theoretical part, using advanced equipment and techniques under the guidance of experts. This hands-on experience was essential to truly enhance the researchers\u2019 skills in using cryotechniques in their research. \u00a0 This training not only provided a valuable update on cryotechniques, but also fostered enriching discussions among participants, helping to foster innovation and collaborative research in this area.
